Street Photography - part III and a great photographer who has gone out of time

Hi all photo lovers!
The acclaimed Swiss-American photographer Robert Frank has passed away at the age of 94. He was one of the great photographers in the United States during the 40s and 50s. He published his first book in 1946 and when he emigrated to the United States he got a job as a fashion photographer at Harper's Bazaar in New York. He exhibited on several occasions at Modern Art in New York, but his most prominent work is considered by many to be the photobook The Americans, which came in 1958. Robert Frank was awarded the Hasselblad Award in 1996.
This year's Hasselblad´s prize is awarded to the Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama. The prize amount is SEK 1,000,000 (approx. USD 110,000) and the award ceremony takes place on October 13 in Gothenburg.
Today's images that I show are cityscapes from Gothenburg with its urban appearance.

Den prisade schweizisk-amerikanske fotografen Robert Frank har avlidit vid en ålder av 94 år. Han var en av de stora fotograferna i USA under 40 och 50-talet. Han publicerade sin första bok 1946 och när han emigrerade till USA fick han jobb som modefotograf på Harper´s Bazaar i New York. Han ställde ut vid ett flertal tillfällen på Modern Art i New York men hans främsta arbete anses av många vara fotoboken The Americans som kom 1958. Robert Frank tilldelades Hasselbladpriset 1996.
Årets hasselbladspris tilldelas den japanske fotografen Daido Moriyama. Prissumman är på 1 000 000 kronor (ca 110 000 USD) och utdelningen äger rum den 13 oktober i Göteborg.
Dagens bilder som jag visar är stadsbilder från Göteborg med dess urbana utseende.
