New all time high for Litecoin @ $132, up 40%

Litecoin. Litecoin somehow feels like a very unspectacular coin, and I told a friend I regard it as THE store of value coin. But looking at it, it has risen almost 3000% in 2017, from only $4. So, so much for that theory.

 

But it has been quite slow and predictable the past 6 months. And I've been moving funds in and out of Litecoin because the price has been pretty stable at 90-100$. Luckily I had quite a lot in my accounts these days as I saw the price surge almost 40% recently today.

Too bad I went out and bought some Monero today instead of Litecoin. I was weighing them up and down - googling Monero vs Litecoin etc. And I ended up stacking some Monero instead.

I regret that now, but I believe both of them will have a nice gain in the weeks and months to come. Litecoin and Monero are also the kind of coins you want to hoodle a substantial amount of for a long time, and never sell too much. I've certainly learned that now, and it was just pure luck that I had money stored in LTC.

Any news?

Not really, but as Charlie Lee tweets "Litecoin has grown quite a lot this year"
And Litecoin is gaining more addresses per day(141%) than Ethereum(62%) and Bitcoin Cash(30%) and Bitcoin(11%)

Also Bitcoin was removed as payment on the gaming site Steam, whereas Charlie Lee contacted them and asked them to add Litecoin instead.
