Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - long time ago!!

Introduction

I've been seeing this contest for a long while, but unfortunately, each time I see it, it always gets me asking myself, “Which one is actually my favorite day of the week?” To be sincere, I don’t think I have any particular favorite day at the moment that is why I’ll be going a little bit off the subject matter this time. But before now, Sundays were actually my favorite day of the week.

Sunday is the day I use to fellowship with God and ask for forgiveness in case I have sinned against Him during the week. I try as much as possible to keep it holy and stay away from the female folks because they are the ones who keep leading me into temptation every other day with their beauty. So, whenever church dismisses, no matter how much I admire them, I don’t fraternize with them to avoid corrupt thoughts.

Maybe from Monday to Saturday we could do the fraternizing. If you want us to go beyond that, I’m even ready, but not on my holy day! So, during one of the Sundays, I went to church to pray to my God, and one of the ushers took my Bible and ushered me to a seat close to one beautiful lady. Immediately, I saw the girl, I just lost focus in the church. It was as if an angel was sitting with me.

I hardly write in church, but because of that lady, I had to go to a nearby store to get a pen and use the opportunity to beg her for a piece of paper to also jot down what the pastor was saying. In fact, if you ask me what I was writing that day, I have no idea. I was just deceiving myself. When it was time for giving the offering, I had to increase my offering from 1k to 3k just to impress the girl, which is very wrong, but I didn’t care.

When church was over, I went outside to wait for her so I could approach her and ask for her number instead of running home and fleeing from temptation like I usually do. This time, I chose to ignore it all. Finally, when she came out, I met her, we talked briefly, and I tried taking her number. Immediately, I typed in “zero,” and my phone switched off for no reason.

I didn’t see that as a sign to run away after several attempts to turn on the phone. I even forgot I had a pen and paper with me. I saw my cousin passing by, and I had to shout his name to help me out with his phone. When he also saw the lady’s number I wanted to take, he was impressed. He immediately gave me his phone, and I took her number.

On my way back home, I stumbled upon an old childhood friend on the road whom I hadn’t seen for years. I took the guy home to show him my house so that he could visit anytime he was around the neighborhood. We got home, and he claimed to be hungry, so I went to prepare food we could eat. While I was in the kitchen cooking, he took advantage of my absence and stole my laptop and phone. That laptop was gotten from my earnings during the early period I joined Steemit.

I’ve written a full post about that before, so I can’t start boring you with that again. Sometimes, I ask myself, if I had decided to run home immediately after church and wasn’t waiting for that girl, perhaps God wouldn’t have made my path cross with that guy. So, you see how my favorite day turned out to be one of my sad days. It's been a long time though. Now, I’ve repented very well because I’ve leaned the hard way!!

So, you see why I don’t really have a favorite day anymore. For now, my favorite day is any of my off days at work because I get to just relax playing games or hanging out with my friends.
