Friday!

At least that's what I am telling myself in work. I came back from a family holiday on Wednesday where myself and my partner has a fantastic relaxing break in the tiny resort town of Portinatix in Ibiza, the jewel of the Balearics.

If you are looking for a fantastic beach, a relaxing getaway and a very quiet resort then I could recommend this place. It is very small, has only a couple of shops and 6 or 7 restaurants, most of which are good.

Our favourite was Grop's lounge, the food was fantastic and the staff were the friendliest and very forgiving of my basic Spanish! The décor is verydriftwood chic and the music was always funky.

I am trying not to dwell upon being back in the cold and miserable winter and looking forward to my next visit to Ibiza. I may return to Portinatix very soon. At least I hope!
