... most of you are probably quite confused at how this little monster could be a climbing soulmate.

She is a chalkbag!!

A chalk bag is exactly what it sounds like, its a small bag that climbers use to hold chalk while they climb. The chalk is for getting extra grip on the handholds

When I saw her the first time, it was instant love. It honestly feels like she was made specifically for me. If you are not familiar with my work here on steemit. She looks almost EXACTLY like one of my monster characters.... its uncanny really...

She is my favorite color in the world.

I can bring her to do one of my favorite activities in the world. Climbing!
I have been thinking about doing some "intro to climbing" or "basics of climbing posts" and just dont really know where to start, so this may be my introduction to a whole new category of posts you may see from me every now and then.

Hey girls! It is the time of girls climbing strong! Everybody speaks about it! You should see the boys faces at my climbing gym when I crush ‚their‘ problems ;) Don't take it personally guys but on the rock only one thing counts.. bite your teeth together and send it !

Apparently she was made for "girl climbers", which I think is pretty silly. Climbing is and always has been an extremely gender neutral sport where guys and girls are quite evenly matched at most levels, girls being the better climbers oftentimes. I personally think MOST gender roles/stereotypes are pretty stupid, I am old school in some things, but I honestly think we confuse kids when we say "you can't have that that's for (opposite sex)". Fun fact: Pink used to be the "boy" color because it was more "bold" and baby blue was the girl color because it was "softer".... well I didn't mean to make this post about that.... but whatever lol.

This is the most excited I have been for climbing gear ever
