TURNING THE TIDE

Psalm 53:6 "Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad".This involves changes that occur in someone's life, which show either the person is progressing or going into total destruction. For a thing to change there must be a turning point, which happen in one's life and an example is when someone go from good to bad, bad to good,bad to worse, good to better, better to best or the combination of the turning point.
To move from a bad situation to a good one requires great determination with the help of God and not by the wisdom of man.

The following are outlined from the turning point;

1). IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE:
Yes! Many things currently happening now has happened before and some have been transformed from their bad situation to the one that will forever praise God, while some has been the opposite of the good story.
Here are some example of the people that receive a turning point in the bible:

• FROM GOOD TO BAD
  
  i. Samson: His life was changed from good to bad because of disobedient to the word of his parent and to the prophecy concerning his life
  ii. King Saul
  iii. Eli
  iv. Adam and Eve

• FROM BAD TO GOOD
  
  These are the people that their life has been so bad that they are out of ideal of what they will like to do with their life but receive grace and a great turning point from God, which change their story totally.
  Example of this in the bible are:
  i. Anna
  ii. Paul
  iii. Blind Bartimaeus
  iv. Joseph
  v. Abraham
  vi. Jabez: 1 Chronicle 4:9-10 says "And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. (10) And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested".
  He achieve this by calling upon God to create a solution to his situation.

i. Judas: He sold Jesus
ii. Michal: she never had a child, for mocking King David
iii. Gehazi

  i. King Solomon
  ii. Elisha

  i. King Nebuchadnezzar
  ii. Peter

2). IT CAN HAPPEN AGAIN
You can experience a possible turn around regardless of your present situation through the following point;
i. Repent turn away from your sinful way
ii. Return and ask foe mercy, if you are backslider
iii. Restitute,so that God can accept you in his righteousness (Heb 12:2)
iv. Re-fire and do not quit
v. Pray for directive
