LIVING SACRIFIES

A living sacrifice is someone that has committed everything own by him or her to God either spiritually, Physically, mentally or emotionally and the person is been directed by God in all area of his/her life. To be living sacrifice is to avoid sin and focus on God, for where he leading to.

WHAT IS SACRIFICE?

According to (Vocabulary.com), sacrifice refers to as loss or something you give up, usually for the sake of a better cause" or "an act of offering to a deity something precious." In Romans 12:1, which says, "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship," there could have been so much question on your mind now, such as should I kill myself just because i want to serve God or must I sell all my properties because of this also, But we're not to be a sacrifice in the sense of killing ourselves. Rather, God want us to be a living sacrifices, A soul winner, Helper of the need, Christ like people. In the Old testament killing of animals were used for pleading unto God for every sin committed by man but since Jesus paid the price for our sins, and gave us everlasting Joy through his name, In (1 John 2:2) which says "He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world", we no longer have to pay for our sins in blood (Hebrews 9:26) "Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself"

HOW DO WE BECOME A LIVING SACRIFICE?

1. DENYING OURSELVES:
   
   Some minds are filled with bad though and we needed to transformed by the renewal of our mind and by this we may discern what is the will of God and what he want us to do, which is acceptable and perfect and perfect in his site. To acquire this we can not do it by our power or might but with the wisdom of God and his grace. An example of this is a brother that do fornicate but the moment he decided to leave this he has to commit all his thought to God for clearance of mind for denying of this earthly things. this can be done through prayer and meditating of his words.

2. OBEYING GOD'S WILL:
   I believe that in obedience there is redemption, so getting up and doing in action to what God said in his word in (Exodus 20:1-9) where he gave the commandment and told what we are not to do. And in (Deu 28:1-7) indicates the blessing allocated to anybody that believe and what he has commanded us to do, and from (verse 7-14), he also gave the opposite of blessing to those that refuses to do it. In (2 peter 1:3-8) which says " His divine power has given us everything we need for a Godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. (4) Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.(5) For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ".

1. FAITH
   
   The Bible says without Faith, it is impossible to please God. There are few times that God used the word impossible in the Bible. This means you do not have the slightest chance of living a life that is pleasing unto God. Thus, it's important that if anybody wants to live a life that is pleasing to God you must faith in him that he can help to overcome that your career war and he give you success in all endeavor but the only you need is to surrender everything to him and also have faith in him that he his capable of taking you to a greater height. Genuine faith is to rely on God's direction and also what he can do. He knows what you need, he wants to meet those needs. but man are clever in their ways thinking that we know better that God, But No, They think they had a better plan than God, But No. Man has limited their power to flesh alone thinking that they are wiser than God, while some even went to say that there is no God.
   But you that believe that he exist, why can't you put all your trust in him and let him lead to the promise land. Have faith in him, he his the creator of everything and he will surely work for you.

Finally, I am imploring every believer to continue their holiness in God and work for the salvation of other, the time is drawing nearer, let the whole know of his existing, healing the world by feeding it with the word of God, bring back the lost sheep and teach them to be holy because holiness is the password to everlasting joy.
