Wow, You must have waited for 4-5hrs for the lotus to fully bloom.
4 days actually, the process is spread over 4 days. bud stage - 1 day
bloom in half - second day
third day and fourth day full bloom and fifth day - falling off
Oh!! I always thought these to be like the regular hibiscus type flowers which takes couple of hours to bloom ie if the buds are fully grown.. nonetheless your efforts towards this is very appreciated.
