I belong to the Steemit world

A few hours away from steemit and the news of the world around me left me speechless

I was not feeling so well yesterday and decided to spend some time reading and watching the news on the TV.

I was shocked to hear the news

• The dam shutters are to be opened soon because of incessant rainfall and rising water levels leading to red alert.

• A writer has been threatened because he dared to write a novel which some people found disturbing.

• A young girl was hounded by cyber bullies because they did not seem to like her smartness and although a guy was arrested, the real culprits stand untouched

All this led me to wonder why the nature of people has changed so much over the years.

Is it the influence of technology?

I do not think so. Otherwise, all the tech guys would be perverted guys. Thank god they are not.

It is probably because of the influence of some leaders who have vested interests and who use their power to brainwash young minds and use them to cause trouble to disrupt the society.

I return to the world of Steemit.
