THE DIARY GAME : DATE 14-10-2020 BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

In the busy world today, where people always complain about lack of time, celebrations are a way to get together and spend some quality time. Birthdays are special for everyone. But it is a very tough task to find a way to make the day special for the person.

Before waking up today, i had made arrangement with a local event planner in my community to surprise someone today because its his birthday. According to what the event planner told me, she was contacted by the guys girlfriend to surprise her fiancé on his birthday. So while she had prepared all things needed for the birthday surprise, i was contacted to come along with my saxophone and play a birthday song to him and also play song of the songs which he loves to listen to. So i told them to dance while i was playing the song he likes listening to(lol). This was a very romantic way to celebrate his birthday and make him feel special.

Before living the house, we had agreed to meet up by 8am in Bambili (a rural area in my city). This place was very far from my place so i left the house by 7:30am, hoping to be there by 8am. But due to traffic along the way, i arrived there by 8:30am meanwhile she has been there ever since and waiting for me.

From there again, she hired another taxi to take us to the boys house with his birthday gifts and cake.

While on our way to his place, the taxi got bad due to bad roads, so we were forced to wait for the taxi driver to repair what ever got bad with his car. Thank God the guy had basic ideas about maintenance because i could not just imagine myself waiting for the driver to call a repairer to come and checkout what ever was wrong with the car.

After waiting for some time, the taxi driver finally fixed the car and we continued our journey.
We arrived late due to the car break down. We got there by 10am in one location i have never been to(hahaha).

When we got there, his fiace and some of his friends were already waiting for us. We went straight to his house, did the surprise as planned (i was playing the saxophone while the others were handing over his gift to him).

The first time i saw a boy crying on his birthday.

At the end, there was a big feast even thou the guy was like we should have informed him so he could have called or invited others but then, that would not be a surprise again.
