THE DIARY GAME: 22/08/2021

For the past week, i have been out of town as i was invited by a friend and big brother for a musical program at the capital city of Cameroon Yaoundé. This program had to take place on friday night from 5pm but before the program, he kinda organized a seminar for all musicians a day before the program which was thurday. So for me to be part of this seminar, i had to leave town on Wednesday night so that breaking thursday morning, i am in Yaounde for the seminar and Concert.

I travelled via a travelling agency called 'Amour Mezam', as i took off by 5pm wednesday evening and by 4am Thursday morning we arrived Yaoundé.

Everything went well(both the seminar and the concert). The concert started by 8pm on friday night due to some technical fault and ended around 2am Saturday morning.

I was indeed tired and couldn't travelled back to my home within the day. So i decided to rest within the day and take another night journey back to Bamenda on saturday night and breaking sunday morning, i was back in town.

Normally i was thinking of resting the whole day but something kept on telling me to go to church as I am the music coordinator.
Usually i will always take care of my fathers pig farm every morning, but before i got home that blessed morning, my Elder brother had done everything. I simply had my bath, dressed up and went to church.

Its Sunday and usually my Sundays always rotate around church activities and music rehearsals with the music band(Cross connect music) which i am a saxophonist there, but today was just so different as I was so so tired and couldn't make it for rehearsals...

Never the less, I still went to church in my tiredness.
So by 10am, I was in church when the service had already started and a moment if praise was going on.

I noticed some noise in the sound and immediately went to the console and adjust it after which I came back, picked up the bass guitar and join my friends (one playing the keyboard and the other playing the drums) as we jointly played during praise and worship.

By 11am when the pastor mounted the pulpit and started preaching his message for the day, before I could noticed, I was sleeping already.

I left my seat and when to the back of the church were I stood up still the end of the service so I wouldn't fall asleep again 🤣🤣🤣

By 1pm when church service was over, I thought of going for music rehearsals as we are also preparing for an outdoor musical concert on Thursday. But it was obvious that I will still be sleeping at rehearsals as one can't really cheat on nature.
So after church, I went home and rested for a well after which when I got up, I watched some movies from my laptop as I called it a Day.
