THE DIARY GAME: 07/03/2021 Sunday and Music

Its Sunday already and usually my Sundays always rotate around church activities and music rehearsals with the music band i am part of. I usually observe my sundays as a day of worship and rest whereby every morning i would go to church for fellowship.

Early this morning when i got up from bed, i did my morning meditation, made up my bed and later on went out of my room to do my house chores and as well take care of my fathers pig farm with my brother before preparing and going for church service this morning.

Before i left my room, my elder brother was already up, drawing water from our well which i joined him to facilitate the work. When we were done with the water, we used some feeding the pigs and kept some for usage at home.

We took about 1hour taking care of the pig farm, after which i went and had my bath, came back into my room and dressed up for church. I left the house by 8:30am this morning for church and by 9am, i was already seated down. I first of all set up the sound system and as well do some sound check before the commencement of the service.

Church service started with intercession and prayers for about 30minutes, after then the praise and worship team took over for a moment of praise and worship. I was playing the Bass guitar and one of the pastors in church was playing the Keyboard and finally one guy i have been training was playing the drums. Usually, the pastor hardly plays anything just that the guy we called to come cover up the service didn't showed up.

Thank God everything went well. By 1pm today, church service was over unlike sometimes when we would even close at 3pm. I left immediately after church for my music rehearsals at our leaders house as he has all and good instruments we need to rehears with. When i got there, i met him and some other two brothers who are also part of the band doing arrangements and connections while waiting for the entire team. I couldn't just seat down doing nothing and so i joined them to do the set up.
Normally we dont usually have electricity at this hour and our leader saw the need of getting us a generator for the team. We did some contributions some days back for a generator.
So after setting up everything, I and one other guy took the generator outside and switched it on so we could commence with rehearsals.

Rehearsal was extra sweet today, firstly the turn out was very encouraging as it has been long we had this number attend rehearsals. We basically had 4 songs to practice which was given by our leader the previous week to rehears against today as we a preparing for a grand musical concert/worship experience titled "THE MASTERS EASTER".

After doing some vocals and rehearsing the 4 songs, our leader give another songs for the next practice session after which we closed for the day. I left with my kid sister, came back home and called it a day.
