CLUB100 // The Diary Game 3: Betterlife with Steem (02/01/2023)~~Doing live performance at my Sisters WEDDING.

Hello Steem World..
I will say my 2023 has started on a right footing with my kid sister getting married on the 2nd of January. Weeks before this particular day, my kid sister got to me and said she would love for me to be one of the groomsmen... i was happy with the whole idea but not happy with the fact that the dressing code was a suit. I am not a fan of suits, i don't really feel comfortable in it and in addition it is too occasional.

I just had to tell my kid sister that i dont have money for the suit but will support in any other way she wants me to.
Early Tuesday when i got up from bed... I did my usual morning routines, starting by making up my bed, following by my morning prayers. I my prayer time, i committed and pray for the wedding to be a success. When i was done, went to the kitchen and made some breakfast for myself.

Unfortunately for me, i had to go to school this same day as my classes were expected to end by 2pm where as the wedding starts at 12 noon. I left my house dressed up ready for the wedding and went to school, attended the first class and came back home.

I couldn't attend the second class which was to start at 11am. That will means not going for my sisters wedding. I came back home after the first class, pick up my saxophone and went to down to do some few things before going for the wedding. I met one of my amazing friend who helped me in town and later on decided to follow me to the wedding

When we got to the church were the wedding was scheduled to hold, it was still kinda empty by 1pm where as the wedding was to start by 12noon. I started regretting why i didn't finish attending all my classes before coming for the wedding. Never the less, we started doing some sound checks and balance before the wedding finally began by 2pm with praise and worship songs before the couples where usher into the church

Since the wedding started late, church service was kinda brief to catch up with time and reception. By 5pm, the church pat of the wedding was over, which was followed by photoshoot taking outside the hall, after which everyone left the hall and went to the venue ground for the reception while the couples went to their hotel room to go and change.

The second part of the wedding which was the reception started by 6pm very late and unsecure especially in Bamenda where we are. Due to that, many things where cut off the program for the reception but i made sure i was included in the program because i had to play a special song for my sister on this special day of her life.

The reception started by 6 and finised by 8pm, but i didn't wait uptil that time. I was giving slot of 3 minutes by the MC who happens to be my cousin to play the song. I played the song titled "I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU" by Whitney Hosten.

While i was playing, my kid sis took the mic from the mc and joined me singing the song to her husband.(Could this be love).
When i was done, i left and went home since it was left as i called it a day. But while going home, i was asking myself and God this question
"Blaise WHEN???????????? "
