Dalhousie, a place everyone should visit once.

Hello my steemit friends, this is my first post.

Dalhosie (located in north India), is a beautiful place in himalayas. For all who love trekking should visit this place once in a lifetime. You can go by yourself or you can also go with trekking camps as well (Nature club, youth india association,etc.).

Those who loves to travel with friends, this place is perfect for you.

A perfect place hidden in the mountains and its beauty speaks for itself. Sorry because you can just see the pictures or snaps but once you feel the place, it's serenity, fresh air and when your heart calms down feeling all of these you will understand what this place is all about.

There is a place near Dalhousie, named "Kalatop". You can go there by climbing the mountain as it is at higher altitude than Dalhousie. It is approximatetly 15 kms from Dalhosie if you by trek. Whole way is packed up with snow and trees. And it's fun if you there with your friends. Because of uphill it takes about 5-6 hours to reach there.

Temperature goes below zero at night in Kalatop, so if you go there by yuorself please keep extras to keep your body warm at night. Scenery from that place is greate. Sunset and morning at Kalatop are mesmerizing. If you love photography than this place will stay in your heart forever.

After Kalatop, you can climb down the mountain and go to "Khajjiar", known as mini Switzerland of India. Place is beautiful and approximately 12 kilometers from kalatop and 24 kilometers from Dalhousie. You can directly catch a bus from Dalhousie as well.

It's a place where you find peace and tranquillity from your daily mundane life. Thinner but fresh air than your polluted city air. If you love the nature this place is for you. If you are looking for a trip with your friends, this place is for you. Here are some more pics that I clicked.
