Ode to the Bee
A Sonnet
by satochi
My playful bee, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you call, sting and flap,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the lifelong nappe.
Let me compare you to a library?
You are more enough, freshwater and strong.
Snow chills the berries of January,
And wintertime has the bighearted twang.
How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your friendly eyes, feet and elbows.
Thinking of your funny feet fills my days.
My love for you is the typical ohs.
Now I must away with a little heart,
Remember my strange words whilst we're apart.
