My Steem Power is no longer just 15! I started moving
Today I read a post of @exyle wherein he had mentioned that Steem Power is the mining tool of Steemit.The more SP you have the higher is your value in the community.
When you join the Steemit you will be provided with 15 SP, out of which 14.5 SP is delegated by steemit and 0.5 SP is your own.14.5 SP is the loan provided by steemit which you have to repay later.You can see the fluctuations(Decrement) in the numbers of delegated SP as you start to claim rewards.Steemit takes back every meagre extra SP you earn beyond 15SP as the repayment.That means,your account is not really yours as you have no power at all.You should work your butts out in order to erase that bracket and own your own account with the required minimum of 15 SP!
When you are a newbie,and all that you have is just 15 SP,a lot of issues will arise when you venture into steeming..Let me explain the main two from my experience.
Bandwidth - It sucks! Knowing nothing about Bandwidth and Steem Power, I drafted a post in my phone with spending more than two and half hours thinking its gonna be a breakthrough..I clicked on the 'Post' button and that funny message popped up saying my band width is too low to post this! The same happened to me with lot of my comments when I was about to post!
Voting Power - The 'Ginabot' often sends me DM on discord saying my vote value is $0.003 whenever I upvote my own posts and it shows as $0.00 in steemit.com! A worthless being!
MY CURRENT SP IS 92!
This is my 36th day on steemit and all that I had accumulated to date through my hardwork was 8.861SBDs.I went to Blocktrades and purchased 75 SP delegation for 8.3 SBDs which will be on the Bracket of my SP for the next 90 days..So my SP suddenly raised to 92 and my 100℅ vote value now is $0.02..This can make a significant difference in visibility to my own posts and other's in which I upvote.I'm not saying that $0.02 is a big money.But to me it is!

Building up Steem Power is indeed pretty important. But for the moment I'm more focusing on my rep. People do tend to read a post much quicker for a person with rep above 50 than below 30. The steem power increase will be a nice side effect of this.
I was lucky and somebody did delegate 50SP out of free will. Without knowing it, suddenly I did noticed that 50 SP were delegated to me!

50+ reputation is good but people won't tend to notice you just because of that..You will be considered as a minnow till you cross the border 60..that takes a lot of efforts and by then one for sure will have enough money with them.
I was focusing more on reputation till now,But using bid bots to get it makes me feel guilty..Let's see what happens..A minimal use of Bid bots is fine too!

Have you tried discord channels?You will get more support from like minded people from there.
I'm a member of many discord channels like indiaunited,curie,PAL....etc so many..Except for minnowsupport's upvote I don't see any benefit using it (Some personal chats were good)..PostPromotion is there in every channel..But no use in sharing link over there

Ooh my story was different.During the initial phase my post always end up with 1 or 2 votes.After joining discords and some engagement it actually got better.Then I tried curation trails.Now am thinking of borrowing some Sp.Need to do some research now😊
I know it bro but tell me is Delegation Power is worth-full? Because they give you for 3 month only. Will you utilize it to upvote others or upvote yourself. I am to begin my journey few days back. Stay connect to me.
I spent 8 SBD..all that I want to earn is more SP..I will be making many comments,posts and will surely earn more than 8 SBDs..main aim is not to recover this amount..But to earn the friendship of active people through some visible upvotes.
I know that your will earn SBD by comment. Bro tell me will your upvote yourself to get SBD back? How can your earn friendship of active people?
I can do ten 100℅ votes a day..for sure I will do upvote to some of my posts and reward one or two persons who comment well on my posts with this small upvote..And also I have got acquainted with some great content creators who are still minnows..I will upvote some of their quality content and it will help me in long term.
