My friends don't believe in STEEMIT
I have been talking to a lot of people that I know about steemit. I keep trying to get them to sign up. I constantly show them how it works and the potential that is here.
They just shake their heads and treat me like I don't know what I'm doing. I show them all proof that it's real. They still don't believe.
Why is this?
Well, I think that a lot of people just can't grasp the concept of being in control of your own earnings. Or, they didn't find out about it first. Or maybe, they just like to be against everything all the time.
Whatever the case is, I'm on steemit, and I am absolutely loving it. It's not easy, but I enjoy the community. If my friends don't want to be a part of this, that's OK. I wish they would though.
But some people just refuse to attempt a new concept.

After 12 years of living my lifestyle by design and being my own boss The best advice I can give you is pay no attention to your friends, your family or your peers and seek their approval. Follow "YOUR" intuition and your vision in life because at the end of the day; its "YOUR" life and you have done the research to prove to yourself you have what it takes.
Everyone laughed in my face and told me "yea right; good luck!" with super sarcasm and laid it on very thick when I told them I would work from home, and have an international business and live my life how I want. The only thing you can do is let your success speak for itself. By the time I was 19 I had my own Social Media Marketing Agency and never looked back. Those same friends that laughed in my face now have normal jobs and I get to wakeup whenever I want and do what I want when I want.
I'm telling you this because You TOO can do this; Im just a normal person with a vision and am happy when people succeed.
YOU know the potential and more importantly your an early adopter of being on Steemit. In a few years when they decide to "jump in" or after seeing you do it they will realize what you once told them.
At that point its up to you if you want to teach them and help them or just continue on your journey and help the people who REALLY want to learn and take the action to make it happen.

Yeah, it's on them at this point. I am just going to keep building my foundation. My kids are getting interested, and that's super awesome. So I'm just going to keep teaching my kids.
Build that solid foundation; thats where its at man good job!! Also awesome Idea on teaching your kids; it will greatly benefit them in the short future and teach them how to share value with people and earn an income online from being who they are and doing what they enjoy to do.
Totally true. Listening people is a waste of time. Just to focus on people that push you and want to move one with you ! 🙂

It is like all things in live: People stick to the familiar because that is easy and secure. Confronting your friends and family with somthing revolutionary like Steemit is like to convince them that there is a deep state manipulating from behind the scenes.
All you achive is to get pity from most of them. But that mustn't stop you. Because YOU are the one that can change their lives for the better. So stay persistent, educate, talk about it and believe with all your heart in what you are doing.
In the end people will see the inevitable success of Steem and come in hordes to this platform, when you have already established yourself in the community.

Very true! People are only helped when they choose to accept that they need it.
In my opinion you can try and educate them now, but if that's not working, try them again in a year or two, they will be kicking themselves for not getting into it early. You can lead a horse to water...

It is to bad that they won't listen to you right now about SteemIt. Here in a year or so they are going to be upset that they ignored you and at this point, and they will want to get on it! Of course, they will have missed on the best times to be on the platform! Good job trying to convince them though.
Everyone has media overload, O just another website to update. I have been here a week already made money It Is difficult to believe In at first, there Is quite allot to grasp. I'm with you I love Steemit now been promoting on twitter getting views just need the upvotes now, all the best to you and keep promoting :) x
Comfort zones are definitely challenged. Most of the people I interact with on a daily basis have only heard of Bitcoin, let alone the cryptoverse.
