It might not always feel that this is an easy thing to do as your negative thinking habits become so ingrained, but with some time and awareness, you will eventually replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Here are five simple ways to do this.

This means that you have to start by replacing all of the negative thoughts you have with positive ones, then you need to replace them with common thinking patterns. Cognitive distortions are a set of beliefs and attitudes that can lead to you believing and feeling things that are actually false and harmful to your well-being. Cognitive distortions can include things like: assuming that things are always positive, the belief that others are too involved with you to be able to help you, the belief that people will not care about you or even that you cannot do anything to yourself. By changing your belief system to reflect these things and by consciously changing your behaviors, you can retrain your mind to feel and act a certain way. And you will find that this process can help you in all aspects of life, not just your personal life.


No matter how much you try, there is simply no way that you can stop thinking at some point or another. However, by learning how to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts, you will find that your life will be much more enjoyable. You will develop a new sense of who you are, as well as learn to appreciate all that you have and love all that you do.
