My beautiful Latigo
Flowering/blooming season has begun and I can smell my awesome Latigo orchid's floral scent in my sala.
The name speaks for itself. Latigo meaning 'whip' has long stem or stalk and its flowers sprout on every segment that you can tie it around your head just like Moana. 😀
The cuttings will not be wasted since you can still plant it back or simply let it hang airborne .
You don't need to water it when rainy season is up.
New ones will appear in between the segments . Wait till the new roots appear before extracting the new plants.
Then it will be the time to cut and tie/staple them on the branch..
Or wrap it with coconut husk like this:
