These activities are dying if not dead already
Today connectivity is a given in most cities of the world. With advancing tech and growing usage it will in some decades become practically universal.
When I was 12 all the computing I knew was a commodore64
But I feel lucky to have witnessed that time when change was slow and one did not have to keep running just to keep your place in the social spectrum.
Some things of my generation which are disappearing:
- Handwritten letters and postcards
- big houses with 3-4 families living under one roof
- small libraries which rented magazines, novels and comics
- home made go-karts
- wooden and metal make-it-yourself toys
- going on month long family vacations
- the around the corner video-game parlours
- Vinyl records
I KNOW- YOU WILL CALL ME OLD. MAYBE I AM, BUT STILL VERY MUCH IN THE GAME
As time passes, generation changes and something got disappear from the world. That is the true.
Thks for dropping by. Hope the things replacing the old bring more joy!
