THE DIARY GAME: 19.08.2020. Break in the park. (En-Ita)

Very hot day today.
A message from the civil protection of my city gave us the weather warning because of the high temperatures.
And this is happening many times over this period. In this case, it is recommended to drink plenty of water and, if possible, do not go out during the hottest hours. The heat is also increased by several fires which, unfortunately, occur when a little wind picks up.
In short, I must say that, in these conditions, staying at home to work in smart-working and using air conditioning is a good way to face these very hot days. In the evening, however, it is nice to take a walk near the house where there is a beautiful park that is very welcoming and much loved by the neighborhood.
It is called the Piazza della Musica due to its close proximity to the city's Conservatory. It is a recent park with a modern layout.
A small lake divides it into two parts, creating beautiful reflections in the evening with the evening lights.
Also very popular with mallards to the delight of children.

It is not very big but the green lawn often welcomes young people and children who come here to spend some quiet moments. There are many benches and a space where, thanks to the presence of a bar, you can have a quick meal or have an ice cream.
It is also a very important meeting point for the elderly of the neighborhood who come to this square to meet and keep company for a few hours.
They are often accompanied by caregivers, usually foreign ladies from Eastern European countries, who gather in this beautiful square to accompany the elderly. A few times a year this square is used for holding outdoor events such as horticultural fairs or exhibitions of local food and wine products.
But this is not the period.
Today, several families have given their children moments of outdoor play, always respecting the social distancing that, however, still imposes on us this phase of containment of Covid.
Some people, even if we are outdoors, have seen them use the mask. Caution is never too much also because, just yesterday an ordinance of the mayor requires the use of the mask even outdoors after 6 pm and in places where groups are created.
Unfortunately, Covid infections are increasing in my region, even if the numbers are not very high but have started to grow again.
I do not hide my concern.

Pausa al parco.
Oggi giornata da gran caldo. Un messaggio della protezione civile della mia Città ci ha dato l’allerta meteo proprio per le alte temperature. E questo sta succedendo molte volte in questo periodo.
E’ consigliato in questo caso bere molta acqua e, se possibile, non uscire nelle ore più calde.
Il caldo viene aumentato anche da diversi incendi che, purtroppo, si verificano quando si alza un poco di vento.
Insomma devo dire che, in queste condizioni stare a casa per lavorare in smart-working e utilizzare l’aria condizionata è un buon modo di affrontare queste giornate caldissime.
La sera però fa piacere fare due passi vicino a casa dove c’è un bel parco molto accogliente e molto amato dal quartiere. Si chiama la Piazza della Musica per la sua stretta vicinanza al Conservatorio della città.
E’ un parco recente e di impostazione moderna. Un piccolo laghetto lo divide in due parti creando la sera dei bei riflessi con le luci della sera. Molto frequentato anche dai germani reali per la gioia dei bambini.
Non è grandissimo ma il prato verde accoglie spesso giovano e bambini che vengono qui per trascorrere qualche momento di tranquillità.
Ci sono molte panchine e uno spazio dove, grazie alla presenza di un bar, si può consumare qualche pasto veloce o prendere un gelato.

E’ un punto di incontro molto importante anche per gli anziani del quartiere che vengono in questa piazza per incontrarsi e farsi compagnia per qualche ora.
Spesso vengono accompagnati dalle badanti , in genere delle signore straniere dei paesi dell’Est -europeo, che nell’accompagnare gli anziani si riuniscono in questa bella piazza.
Poche volte all’anno questa piazza viene utilizzata per lo svolgimento di manifestazioni all’aperto come fi ere di florovivaismo o delle esposizioni di prodotti dell’enograstronomia locale.
Ma questo non è il periodo.

Oggi diverse famiglie hanno regalato ai loro bimbi dei momenti di gioco all’aperto sempre nel rispetto del distanziamento sociale che, comunque, ci impone ancora questa fase di contenimento del Covid.
Alcune persone, anche se siamo all’aperto, ho visto che utilizzano la mascherina. La prudenza non è mai troppa anche perché , proprio ieri una ordinanza del sindaco impone l’uso della mascherina anche all’aperto dopo le 6 di sera e in luoghi dove si creano dei gruppi.
Purtroppo aumentano i contagi da Covid nella mia regione, anche se i numeri non sono altissimi ma hanno ripreso a crescere.
Non nascondo la mia preoccupazione.
