Beautiful photos. A friend recently told me you can collect pollen from an easter cactus and then hand pollinate the Christmas cactus and it will fruit and set seeds. I'm excited to try this sometime. My Christmas cactus is in flower now...a cutting from my grandma.

The cactus has a very beautiful flower. Unfortunately all of us have died last year. As soon as we discover the cactus again in our supermarket, we will buy some again. I like the variant red best.
