My sister is a pizza master
I know it hasn't been me long. The school year has started and I have to study. But here is an interesting and tasty post.
I went to my sister's for the weekend. And I was surprised when I saw that she made a very nice and tasty pizza. Too bad I wasn’t there to photograph the process of making this masterpiece, which I later ate. I don't even know what was in the pizza, but I can tell you that it was delicious.
And now let's grab a piece of history:
A little history of pizza
We all know what ingredients are necessary for a pizza to have such a juicy taste, however, have you ever wondered how it actually came about?
What is quite certain is that no one can claim with certainty what the real truth is. However, many believe that pizza did not originate in Italy, although its strict "ownership" has always been attributed to that country.
The first pizza is believed to have originated in the Mediterranean area, where many peoples such as the Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians used to eat thinly baked dough, on which they put oil, garlic, and spices.
Poor food
In Italy, local bakers used this thinly developed simple dough primarily to check the temperature of their ovens. In order not to throw away the dough, they distributed it to the poor population who put leftover lunch on it, mostly vegetables and spices. That is why it is considered that pizza was actually a dish of the lower class of the population.
