A few years ago, I used to literally crawl to the bathroom in agony on the morning of my period. If I had anything planned for the day, I had to cancel it.
I’ll spare you the details, but let’s just say I went through a box of pads every 2 to 3 days. Bed sheets were ruined ALL the time.

Now I can actually leave the house when my period comes, and function like a normal human.

Speaking of endorphins, if you have an orgasm during your period (through sex or masturbation), those feel good endorphins will help relieve cramps because your uterus will contract and then RELAX.
Another way to relax that uterus is to apply heat with a heating pad. Better yet, hop in a bubble bath.

Bless you for this haha. For some reason my cramps have been worsening the last few months to the point where nothing helps. This past month I was literally wailing and sobbing in bed for hours. No heating pad or over the counter pain reliever. Peppermint oil and a heating pad combined help a little but I mainly just have to suffer through it. I'm actually starting to suspect endometriosis because I don't think this is normal. But I'll definitely try some of your suggestions though. Great article. :)
