There's a problem with the Steemit Feed

Am I the only one who has a newsfeed like this? I mean, it's OK to see the "hottest" posts the first time I log in on Steemit in the day, but not everytime I check in - especially if it's in a language I don't know.

So I was wondering if there were real efforts from the @steemit team to fix this. Maybe do it more dynamic like #Twitter? or recommend the people we choose to follow first, like #Facebook?

I think any change now will be more engaging than as it is now. As I could see, the people have to restore to Telegram channels or Discord groups in order to HAVE a community... and that's kinda self-defeating.

Anyways, what do you guys think? Would you make changes to the newsfeed or is it OK like this? What can we do in order to #fixthefeed?
