Blockchain for Change ​ ​giving Homeless New Yorkers A Digital Identity

Homeless people can now manage their digital identity, access shelters and food pantries, and make use of financial services, using block chain technology. This has been possible by a New York City startup company Blockchain for Change

Three thousand homeless people in New York are going to be benefited in the first run. Once the identities of homeless individuals are created and put on the system, they can then open an account, receive money, and track their activity.

What a noble cause !!!!
