Greetings to all of my friends here in #steemjapan. How are you all guys doing? I hope you are all doing well today and that no matter how hard life can be we should be thankful and happy for we are given another day to live our lives. By the way I'm @saneunji from the Philippines. Today's weather is not that good and I am not fine either. I'm a bit under the weather and quite emotional because of the things that I can't control no matter how hard I try. Well I guess this is life!!! There really are tough times and of course happy times that made life worth living for.

In this emotional state of mine there are things that really comforts me and somehow ease my sadness. Guess what it is?! It's no other than the presence of Good F.O.O.D.S. Like what the quote said *" Food is the most primitive comfort " and certainly it is. Happiness is genuine when we eat the foods we like.

Earlier today my sister noticed that I'm a bit sad; good thing I have a generous sister who ordered some foods to lighten up the mood. These are delicious Filipino dishes that we ordered online on one of the famous restaurant here in my place " Kuya J's Restaurant ".

So here are some of the foods we ordered.

Beef Pochero

The well-known Filipino beef stew that we Filipinos inherited from the Spanish. This dish is mainly consist of beef, potatoes, carrots, green beans, cabbage and pechay. What set this apart from other stews is that pochero is also consist of ripe banana ( sab-a ) as it's main ingredients to add sweetness to the stew.

Crispy Pata

Crispy Pata is another of the sinful ways Filipinos love their pork.The whole pork leg was seasoned with spices simmered until tender and then deep-fried to crispy perfection. The pork is crispy in the outside and moist on the inside.

Chopsuey

This is a very popular Filipino recipe. Chopsuey is a stir-fry dish made of mixed vegetables in a thickened and perfectly seasoned white or light brown sauce with meat like pork, chicken, and shrimp added to make it more tasty.

Pancit Guisado

Pancit bihon guisado is a Filipino noodle stir-fry popular for everyday meals as well as for special occasions. This dish is mainly consist of noodle, pork, cabbage, carrots, squid balls, shrimp and calamansi that made it more tastier. This is perfect with rice or with bread.

So that would be all in introducing the Filipino dishes I like. The foods are definitely delicious enough to lighten up someone's mood especially those people who are having a hard time.
