OnePlus was making only flagship grade smartphones, but they wanted to enter the midrange category. That's why they came up with the "Nord" series. The first OnePlus Nord was good, but it failed in durability tests. But it was back in 2021. And now it's time for the 3rd edition.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is rumored to come with a 6.74-inch Fluid AMOLED display. With a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, the display is expected to deliver smooth and vibrant visuals with enhanced color accuracy and dynamic range. The resolution is speculated to be ju7st above 1080P, providing a density of approximately 390 PPI. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection is expected to safeguard the display against scratches and accidental drops.

According to the rumors, the OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to feature a glass front with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a glass back with Gorilla Glass 5, and a plastic frame. This combination may offer an appealing light weight design while maintaining durability. However, it's important to note that glass backs are generally more prone to fingerprints and may require careful handling. I'd love to see a frosted glass back. And it's good to see the alert slide is back on a Nord.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is confirmed to feature a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 50 MP wide lens featuring Sony IMX 890 Sensor on the helm, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. This configuration is expected to deliver versatile photography capabilities, with features such as PDAF, OIS, and dual-LED flash. The device is likely to support 4K video recording at 30fps and various other video modes. On the front, there might be a 16 MP selfie camera for high-quality self-portraits and video calls.

Oneplus Nord 3 is to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, the OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to offer powerful performance. The octa-core CPU and Mali-G710 MC10 GPU can handle graphics-intensive tasks, ensuring smooth gaming and multimedia experiences. The device is rumored to come with options for 8GB or 16GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage options, enabling smooth multitasking.

The rumored OnePlus Nord 3 is speculated to be powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery. This sizable battery capacity is expected to provide sufficient power for a full day of usage. The device is confirmed to support 80W wired charging, which should allow for fast charging times and minimize downtime. Unfortunately, information about wireless charging and reverse charging capabilities is not available at this time.
