The best camera island design came from the Vivo S18 series. It was subtle, not much highlighting the sizes, without being showy. Prior to that, even a 2MP depth sensor had a cutout of a size of a 50MP sensor, which is ridiculous. and now, it's time for Vivo S19 series but the design wise, it's downgrade for me. Let's get into the depths and see what's hiding underneath.

The Vivo S19 series, consisting of the standard S19 and S19 Pro, is designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind. Both models feature a sleek and slender design, with the S19 measuring 7.19mm in thickness and weighing 193g, while the S19 Pro is slightly thicker at 7.58mm but lighter at 192g. The materials used include high-quality glass and metal, ensuring durability and a premium feel. Both phones also incorporate an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure and convenient access.

The display on the Vivo S19 series is impressive, with both models boasting a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1080P and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screens support 10-bit color depth and deliver peak brightness up to 4,500 nits, ensuring vibrant and clear visuals in all lighting conditions. The S19 features a flat display, while the S19 Pro offers a curved screen for a more premium feel & experience.

The S19 Pro, on the other hand, is equipped with the more powerful Dimensity 9200+ chipset, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, regardless of the configuration.

The camera setup on the vivo S19 series is designed to satisfy photography enthusiasts. The S19 features a 50MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies. On the rear, it has a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The S19 Pro elevates the photography experience with a 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor for the main camera, a 50MP telephoto module with 2x optical zoom and 4x lossless zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Both models include Aura Light ring flashes for softer & more natural lighting.

The battery technology in the Vivo S19 series is noteworthy. The S19 packs a 6,000mAh battery, thanks to Vivo's Blue Ocean Tech, which increases energy density to make the battery 16.6% smaller than conventional 6,000mAh batteries. This allows the S19 to maintain a slim profile while offering substantial battery life. The S19 Pro, although slightly smaller at 5,500mAh, still offers impressive battery capacity. Both models support 80W wired fast charging.

On the software front, the Vivo S19 series runs on the latest Android 14, offering a smooth and user-friendly interface.
