It is mainly because they are packing all the flagship specifications. So price can't be reduced further while spending money on R&D. Since it's been about 5 years for this foldable smartphone story, some companies has found ways to make it cheaper. This is an example.

But I remember that the that the Tecno Phanthom X Flip did better than this while keeping the best features than in The Nubia Flip. So IU feel like they could have done better..
