A few years ago, there were some premium features that were only available in flagship smartphones. Wireless charging, IP68 Water & Dust resistance and Periscope camera setup are some of them. Within the last year or so, the spectrum of smartphones has been narrowed down more than ever, and it's hard to differentiate between what's a flagship and what's a midrange now. The Realme 12 Pro+ is a outcome of that process.

Similar to the Realme 12 Pro, the 12 Pro+ has a similar design language and dimensions, measuring 8.8 mm thick. It is slightly heavier, weighing 196 g, and meets IP65 dust/water resistance standards. The design ethos builds on the elegant and modern theme seen in the Pro model, providing a consistent look across the Realme 12 series with the watch-like camera island.

The Realme 12 Pro+ features an impressive 6.7-inch AMOLED display with comparable specifications. The display features a 120Hz refresh rate to ensure smooth animations and interactions. This ensures a quick charging experience, with the advertised capability of reaching 50% battery capacity in about 19 minutes. The Realme 12 Pro+ is available in several configurations. The 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant costs INR 29,999, which is about $360 or €330. The 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage option costs INR 31,999, which is approximately $385 or €355. For users looking for more RAM capacity, the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant is available for INR 33,999, which is roughly $410 or €375. Early access sales also include a discount of INR 2,000, making the Realme 12 Pro+ an appealing option for those seeking a premium device with improved specifications.
