Entertainment Blog #99 | Causeway [2022] - Jennifer Lawrence in a Different Character

The movie follows Lindsey (Jennifer Lawrence) who was an ex-military. She experiences a traumatic brain injury during her tour in Afghanistan which forces her to return home. She recovers but not fully.. And still, her interest is to return to The Forces.

But she wants to return to The Forces not because she likes the war. I mean.. who likes war?? She has other issues. She returns home from Care and finds a job, Pool Cleaning which she really enjoys. When the owners are out of town, Lindsey use to swim and have fun in pools.

In the interim, she finds a Friend, James Aucoin who help her in difficult times. I mean, he's having a difficult time too. But you know.. boys like to help girls out.. I mean.. their relationship is not that type.. It's just FRIENDS...

You know when time pass by, problems occur between friends and things get heat up. But eventually they cool down. That's how it works.. James wants to Convince Lindsey that redeployment is not the answer for the problems which are in her mind... Will it work?? You gotta watch the movie for it..

My Experience..

I watched its trailer earlier. Jennifer Lawrence was there. So was looking forward to watch this movie. But I had no high hopes. And it wasn't that much of hyped movie. But I like it. I had a good flow. I liked the story.. It's a simple story.. nothing extraordinary. And that's the exact thing that make this special.

Ratings..

Ratings a really good of this movie.. I mean there was nothing to hate. So if you care about ratings.. it's an A Grade movie with respect to Ratings..
