People like to play with dangerous things. There's a thrill in it. We see that kind of people every day on the Internet. They know that they are playing with their lives. And we know that too. And we all know that only a simple mistake is enough to make a huge error. But the thing is, these dangerous activities encourage people to copy and sometime they have to pay their lives for their foolish actions.

"Talk to Me" is a 2022 Australian supernatural horror film that explores the consequences of toying with the supernatural. The movie production was completed at the end of 2022 and it was released in thertres back in July. And now, you can watch it on VOD. Sophie Wilde, Alexandra Jensen and, Joe Bird play the main roles here.

The story revolves around a group of teenagers who stumble upon a mysterious embalmed hand that allows them to communicate with spirits. Mia lost her mother an year ago but she doesn't know how actually she died. Her dad says she was overdosed. It's been a year now and she wants to move on. So Mia went to a party with her only friend, Jade. Her younger brother, Riley also came along.

There, Mia had this supernatural experience with this Embalmed Hand. What should do is held the hand and say ""Talk To Me"". Then the ghost appears and it only appears to the person holding the hand. Then when it's said "I Let you In", it's like the ghost take over the body and does and tells things. Others should remove the hand from the person after 90 seconds window. That's their rule.

At first, the experience seems thrilling, as they make contact with the other side, but they soon discover that there are dangerous limitations and rules to this connection. If they don't break up the connection in under ninety seconds, the spirits can bind themselves to the person. This leads to a series of chilling events, including possessions and sinister visions. The central character, Mia, becomes obsessed with the hand and her deceased mother's spirit, which eventually leads to a downward spiral of supernatural terror.

The film masterfully combines horror elements with a coming-of-age narrative, digging into themes of grief, guilt, and the consequences of one's actions.
