Parents are the ones who affects the most for the life of a child. For a boy, role of a father affects the most because the father becomes the role model for a boy. If the father is abusive, god knows how the child will grow and who he become.

The movie "Raymond & Ray" talks about two brothers who had rough childhoods because of their father. It's an AppleTV+ Original movie which was released in latter 2022. Ethan Hawke (Ray) and Ewan McGregor (Raymond) plays main roles here.

Talking About the Movie...

Actually, both these brothers have same name "Raymond". They are not from same mother. So they are half brothers. And another secret comes out later and it's upto you to find out.

Talking about Raymond's and Ray's lives, they were yet unable to recover from thr trauma given by their father. Raymond can't have successful relationships with women who always ends up devorcing. And Ray was a heroin addict and now , he's sober.

One day, Raymond gets a call from a lawyer saying his father, Ben Harris has passed away. It was a natural death. Raymond was told to bring his half brother Ray with him so they can dig the grave of their father. And that's a part of their father's will.

Ray didn't like the idea. Both know how their father screwed their heads but at the end, Ray agrees to attend the funeral and dig the grave for their father.

They thought they were the only sons of their father. Seems like there are a plenty of them. So what will happen at the funeral function. Will the things be alright? What will happen to the lives of Raymond & Ray? It's upto you to find out.

My Experience..

Well.. there have been quite a few Comedy shows that relates with traveling to a funeral. But I think this one is highlighted because the approach of this movie to address the issue is quite different from other movies having same kinda plots. And it's so much fun. Ethan Hawke and Ewan McGregor were great. Hope you'll enjoy this too.

I don't know why the ratings are that low of this movie. I mean.. for me .. the movie was OK. So don't think that much about the ratings..
