We play video games for fun. Some play them and share the video in a platform like Facebook, YouTube or Twitch and they get money for it. But most of the games doesn't feel realistic. But in this Web Series, it feels real..

"The Peripheral" is an Amazon Original Web Series which was released in latter 2022. It consists of 8 episodes. It's based on a book by the same named which was written by William Gibson. Chloë Grace Moretz plays main role here.

Talking about the Story..

Flynne or Flee (Chloë Grace Moretz) and Burton (Jack Reynor) are siblings. Burton is an Ex-military. He is disabled but he was healed by New Technology. Both plays video games for money. They are paid for leveling up others accounts by playing in their teams. Flee plays better than Burton.

Most of the money they earn by gaming spends for medicine of their mother. One day, Burton brings a new gaming console which consists of some kinda neural technology. It was given for Flee for testing.

Seems like it's something beyond a game. Flee feels things inside the game.. The wind, the cold, the pain... everything. But this game is more than a game. Seems like her missions are part of a big plan. And in because of this, her life and her family member's lives are in danger.

She slowly learns what this augmented reality is. And she learns how to be there.. how to balance both lives.. Will she be able to achieve her goals?? Or will she get herself killed?? It's upto you to find out..

My Experience..

I really like the concept of the story.. First few episodes are superb. Sometimes I felt bored in some middle episodes. But that's OK. The Story should be told. Action parts alone can't create a story..

The Ratings..

Ratings are OK. All are above 75%. So that's not an issue if you are looking at it. If you have doubts, check out the 1st episode and see whether you like or not. I hope you'll like it.. 🥂
