Got the First Dose | 5% to SL Charity

Covid 19 has affected everything in the human world. The lifestyles of everyone has been changed due to the consequences of the COVID 19 pandemic.

We could not have our usual life for around 1 and 1/2 years now. We had to leave university even without having a chance to say a proper goodbye to our beloved friends who cared about us during our university life.

We had to wait so long to pass out of the university and then to join a job. Everything messed up. We couldn’t go for a shopping tour, for a lunch out whenever we wanted. We couldn’t meet our beloved friends and relatives for so long and it’s still affecting our lives.

The only solution for the pandemic is vaccination and Sri Lanka is lucky enough to have a proper and fast vaccination service with the help of the healthcare sector and tri-forces.

Vaccination was done category wise, and those categories are selected based on the risk of infection by a coronavirus. Some were based on age categories and some were from their occupations like the healthcare sector.

A few months back, our parents got the vaccine under the age category and yesterday me and my sister @dasuni got the vaccine under the university category. The government has advised relevant people to give the vaccines to the university students islandwide. So we can have the vaccine from a nearby vaccination centre.

We got the first dose of Sinopharm vaccine. If you are a university student of Sri Lanka and have not been vaccinated yet, you can have your vaccine from a nearby vaccination centre. Don’t forget to bring your national identity card and university identity card with you.
