Flowers are not for Dead Bodies

Everyone loves flowers. Though you are a stone hearted one, you still love flowers. Or you have loved them at least once in the lifetime. Have you noticed, flowers come with both good and sad occasions in our lives. This was lack in Sri Lanka earlier. We offer flowers during weddings and funerals earlier.

Now generation is different, and things have changed. I have seen a meme that some people only receive flowers at their funerals, where only living beings can see and feel. I Believe that flowers should be offered while they are living. Dead bodies cannot feel the softness, fragrance, and beauty of flowers, they are already gone.

I have seen a tendency of celebrating things more now than in the past. People celebrate, birthdays, graduations, weddings, pregnancies, new births, engagements, promotions more. I think we all do hard work to achieve things. So, we have right to celebrate things with people in our close circle.

I think everyone should have people who will cherish and excite from your achievements. I have very few people with me whom I consider as my inner circle. I received flowers for the first time in my life from my ever-loving yet annoying friend @rasinkani.

It was on my graduation day. Bouquet of flowers was mainly in purple color which I love. I think she knows it. She was there with a bouquet of flowers to celebrate my graduation. I brought that home and kept in a water container. It last more than a week. I took some flowers from it and kept under a book to be pressed.

What I want to say in the end is, we need to give flowers while people are still alive to feel it. No use of giving flowers to dead bodies.
