Bumble Bee

My cousin brother’s daughter – Doni faced grade 5 scholarship examination last year. It is always a challenging examination. I remember the time I passed from the same examination 17 years back. Examination department released results of the last year’s examination recently. Our doni has successfully gone through her first educational challenge.

She is really a talented girl. So, we wanted to celebrate this victory of her life. I called her after getting know this great news. But I delayed by a day as I was busy with things. See, we miss our great things due to busy schedules, but I should not.

My mother went there on the very first day. My sister and I went on the following day. When my mother asked what she wants, she has replied that she wants a soft animal toy. I recently learnt to crochet properly. So, I decided to make an soft toy for her.

I went through designs. I wanted a simple but cute pattern as I don’t have much time. Rasi helped me a lot. Finally I selected a bee pattern. It is easy and I had suitable colors. Yellow and black. I made it to a bigger size. So it became a bumble bee.

It came out nicely. As always the hardest part is taking photos. I do not have a suitable location for this. I always feel that I need to make a photo booth when I am taking photos of something. But never did. Let’s see before next time how can I take good photos of what I made. Anyway doni liked this bumble bee.
