One of the finest herb which protect us from many malicious infections and bacteria . Tulsi is the most common name which is widely popular in India ,Nepal, Bhutan,Bangladesh and Pakistan . During this pandemic , We indian used this herb to save us from severe virus attack on our respiratory system .
Our eldest always used to say to drink kadha (A combination of Tulsi herb with Black pepper , cardamom , cinnamon stick and honey )which effect quickly to relieve from infectious fever and cold .
As per herbal researchers and Ayurveda's Doctor, Tulsi is the medicine which should consume in the form of powder or even take a whole green leaves .
If you ask any indian Hindu about the importance of Tulsi ,They will explain you the myth which is deeply connected with their sentiment .Tulsi is the house plant which is most common in indian society but in last few years , Non-resident Indians or even other races started adopting this plant for living healthy life without any side effect.
My mom is very ritual and believer of Natural Medicine .She has planted may different type of herbs in my house roof and suddenly i noticed this beautiful plant which has many beneficial and medicinal properties.

If you drink only the tea like english breakfast tea or Green tea then i advise you all to try drink Tulsi tea at least once in a day in the morning .The reason to drink Tulsi Tea is it makes your blood pressure normal and heal the metabolic imbalance and repair those cells in your body which indirectly cause many health complications.
Tulsi is the herb which can be categorised in 2 main species .

1.Holy Basil : It is basically grown in asian region and widely used for medicinal purpose . It helps to cure many severe disease like Bronchitis , Asthma , Chronic respiratory problems , Cancerous body cells , Mental disorder , Cough & cold , Stomach related problems. These basil are little spicy and burning taste on your palate .
2.Mediterranean basil : These basil leaves are little larger in size and sweet in taste . These are widely used in European ,African and south east Asia . It has lot of varietal taste which is well known by Thai basil ,Sweet basil.

Tulsi (Basil) are something which can be easily grown in the sunlight without adding any fertiliser or chemical product . It needs to be water daily but avoid water everyday in winter season because its roots are very tender and soft which hardly bear the temperature less then 1*c .

Here i extracted dry seeds of Tulsi which can be used to regrow nursery plants . These seeds also can used as Tulsi tea which is basically should serve with warm water and honey. Cardamom is optional to add for enhance the flavour .

Here i plucked some Tulsi which i will use to make some basil based cooler drinks .I forget to take picture but i made watermelon basil cooler which is basically made with muddled basil leaves in fresh watermelon juice added little sweetener and citrus juice . basil cooler should served chilled which soothe your tonsil and and chill your brain after long stressful work.

Here in kashmir we have harsh winters and temperature goes way below 0°c.

Yes as Per Hindu Culture We tret Thulasi we treat as Lord Vishnu. Thats why we do pooja also. As per Ayurvedic,it having good for taling daily basis.

Yes, in Hindu Dharma..it's a belief that Tulsi is symbolised as wifehood and motherhood.

For me Tulsi has worked better along with the Giloy for the rainy season and the winter season immunity. I definitely wish to keep them in the house and hope that I can make use of them. :)
