How to DIY Smart Thermostat for under $40
I'm tired of spending hundreds of dollars on smart thermostats so I decided to make one!
In this video, I give you some detailed instructions on how to make an easy Arduino based smart thermostat. This smart thermostat connects to your air conditioning (AC) or heating unit and helps regulate temperature of your house automatically and save money on your energy bills. The equipment is off the shelf and can be bought on amazon for cheap (Links below). I have done a step by step tutorial of the hardware and the aduino code. I use ESP8266 controller in this video but you can use the controller of your choice. Please let me know if you need help.
