If u want to use it like other apps like fb twitter for making followers u can use it but twitter fb dont pay you but steemit pay you for this.

If u resteem anyone their post will be started to show on your timeline and their post again show on the top of list above
Why we should upvote?
we should upvote eachother for the progress of this steemit community if u like someone post upvoted him/her for his courage and support.
