Welcome to school

The new academic year has already started here in India and the fresh lot of kids are ready to hit the school. While some kids actually enjoy their time at school, some hate it to the core.

I remember when I was a kid and I was wailing all the way to the school and had literally pulled hair off the van drivers head while he forced me into the van to reach school. Though I enjoyed my time at school, I preferred being at home, guess I was a mumma's girl. My brother on the other hand was very cool. He used to spend his time at school by sleeping and waking up just when it is rhyme time.

The first year in the school is all fun for parents and teachers to see how these kids react. I had badass teachers who wouldn't think twice before picking up the cane, but teachers have reformed and treat kids like friends.

Teachers during my time looked as if they don't have muscles in their cheeks that is stopping them from smiling. The looked and sounded so rude, may be that's why I hated going to school. Teachers now give and take Hi-Fi's, share food with kids and play together. Kids don't see them as teachers, instead get attached to them as friends. This actually makes learning fun.

I had been to the same school 12 years ago where my son is presently studying. Everything at the school still looks the same. Same furniture, same infrastructure etc etc.but the attitude of teachers have changed completely. I so wish I could study again. Learning with these teachers would be so much fun.
