The insatiable need for money

How much is enough? Money is probably the only thing that we humans don't get satisfied with.no matter how much we have, we still feel the need to have a little extra. Money needs are unending and it's our greed that is spoiling our today and tomorrow.

We are actually not living our today since we are busy creating a beautiful tomorrow which we really don't know, we will see it or not. One of my mom's cousin was a rich man. He had inherited some great properties from his parents at great locations. He also had some commercial properties that he had rented out and was earning a monthly rent of around 10 lakhs from it. He had never helped anyone in need.

His greet was such that he didn't eat well. He thought having a single meal daily would save him a few hundred bucks every month. He never got married because he thought having wife and kids would increase his monthly expenses.

Fast forward to present, he is alone and not in good health. His relatives and friends don't come to even look at him for they are scared that he would accuse them of being gold diggers. I don't understand what is he going to do with the mountains of cash that he has saved with the years. Who would all the cash go to.

My uncle is not the only isolated case. There are a lot many people in this world who believe in saving than spending. I understand saving is important, but spending is also equally important. Spend on things that you need or things that makes you happy because you never know if tomorrow you would be alive to enjoy the money you have saved over the years.

So guys, save as much as you want, but pamper yourself with what you desire.
