How to spend money ?

Money is very important. Though there are many who would say that money cannot buy happiness, because I believe otherwise. Money equals to happiness. I can say that I belong to the middle class category of the society with ample money to buy myself basic necessities. A basic car, a basic house and of course affordable food. I check the price tag on the products multiple times before I put them in my shopping cart. But, I have lots of cousins who are super rich. One among them is a cousin who works on ship.

It took him a birth to reach the position he is in. He had struggled hard to become what he is today. Thanks to almighty, he is today one of the richest man in the family. He has everything that one can ask for. Best of car, best of house and his wife and kids get whatever they ask for. Price tags on products are just for the billing agents.

But, I have to admit that my cousin doesn't know how to spend money. He has been spending the money on silver and gold ornaments for the home goddess. He has been spending a lot as give away to the priests who is visibly selfish.

I personally feel that my cousin should think of some kind of charity to the needy rather than spend on the priest who sees rituals as a business. I have never seen my cousin help a needy. All he does is, hires the priest to get some rituals done and fill his pockets. Does god gets satisfied with these rituals ? I doubt. God surely doesn't need these gold and diamonds. All that God's and goddesses need is peace among people.
