Gone are the times when women were often considered inferior to men. The times when husband used to treat his wife like a price of thrash is long gone. Now women in every way can walk shoulder to shoulder. Be it profession or personal. The new age educated women are not fools like they were a decade or more ago.

Recently a woman on Odisha, India made the entire female race proud after she cancelled her wedding. Well, the news was a shocker role reversal for people in India, because the news are always the other way round. I have read news about how husband threatened to dismiss the wedding after entering the venue as the bride's family were unable to pay dowry. This young woman did the unusual. She cancelled her wedding because her groom entered the venue drunk and insulted her parents.

The woman went on to lodge a police complaint and when the police summoned the groom he said that he was sorry for his behaviour and his friends had forced some pegs down his throat and he was not in his senses. He also added that he still wanted to marry the girl he is engaged to, but the girl made it clear that she wouldn't want to have any relationship with a man who insults her parents.

So, this message is for all men, if you think you can get away with any girl thinking she is just a girl, then you are wrong. Women are getting better. They will make sure that you get the right punishment for your behaviour.
