How to calculate the $ value of your WLS

Finding the dollar value of your Whaleshare stash is not as simple as checking the value of Steem, but don't despair... it is still very simple.

Whaleshares are exchanged with Bitshares on the Rudex exchange, so you will need to look at the value of Whaleshares against Bitshares and then the value of Bitshares against the USD, multiplying the two together.

These are the two links you will need:

WLS/BTS

BTS/USD

https://wallet.bitshares.org/#/market/BTS_USD

Best to bookmark them while you are still thinking about it.

Calculators at the ready

Looking at the two values as they are now:

• WLS/BTS - 2.49
• BTS/USD - 0.095

Multiply one by the other and we have a total of 0.236

Which means…

1 WLS is currently worth around $0.24

This may not sound like much but you can be sure it will grow in time.
