What newbies on Steemit need to know about their earnings
In one of my old blog post I wrote about how steemit will boost the use of cryptocurrency, mostly in Africa. Already we've seen massive enthusiasm from countries like Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana.
Just recently the first ever Blockchain conference was held in Lagos Nigeria. The conference was a huge success.

From my research, most people I've registered on Steemit.com only joined because it pays, not because they've been using cryptocurrency. Some of them have already started making some cool payouts from their post,but they don't know the future of the value of what they've earned
what you should expect soon.
The whole bitcoin fork news made lots of coins to drop in value. If you've made 10 SBD or 100 SBD so far from your post, that 1 SBD from your payout is worth $0.953878 Worth of bitcoin.
Meaning that 100 SBD you've earned is 100SBD * 0.953878 = $95.3878 worth of bitcoin (36,247 naira).
But after the whole bitcoin fork, the price of 1 SBD is expected to gradually return back to its price of around $1 to $2. If/when it gets back to $2, your 100 SBD will be *100SBD * $2 = $200 worth of bitcoin
One very popular cryptocurrency tutor @jerrybanfield has predicted that 1SBD will hit $10. Meaning if you've earned 100 SBD,it will change to 100 SBD * $10 = $1000 worth of bitcoin.
So keep doing what you're doing now. Be original and avoid plagiarism.
