My visit to Tajmahal

In 2017, we visited the Tajmahal while returning from a trek. Tajmahal is one of the seven wonders in the world. Every year, many tourists from all around the world visit the tajmahal.

Tajmahal is in Agra. This is in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Agra is well connected with Delhi and other cities by rail, road and airways. Tourists can hire a car / auto from rail-station / bus-stand / airport to reach Tajmahal.

The history of the monument is briefly inscribed in front of the entry gate.

Apart from the main structure, the entrance and the other minars are architectural marvel. Below is one of the entrance-

This monument is under Archeological Survey of India and remains open from Sunrise to Sunset. Friday is closed for tourist. Please check ASI website for any change in schedule.
