Me, My choir crew and my pastor

The day started on an awesome note, set to enjoy God’s presence. The essence of our living is to return all the glory to a God whose presence we cannot do without and whose absence we cannot afford.
To cap it up, it’s the first Sunday in the month and hence Thanksgiving sunday. Remember my post some days ago about thanksliving (living a life style of thanks).

My wife and son were quite cooperative and we were able to make it out on time.
As I drove towards church, just about some few minutes to church (less than 3minutes drive) I suddenly came face to face with a petroleum tanker that had fallen across the road all burnt up.

The tanker actually fell the morning of the previous day, under the heavy rain. I was aware but I just assumed it must have been towed from the road. I was shocked to meet it there, my country is blessed hahaha.

I had to turn and faced a longer route to church which took another 15 to 20minutes of my time. Quite late but not so late because the service hadn’t started, but as a worker, I ought to have been in church by 7:30am.
Yes, after the workers prayer, here came 9:00am and service started. Being a member of the choir, we got up stage and led the congregation to worship and also did our special song, then came the pastor to give the message for the day.

It was an awesome time as were led into some deep and refreshing prayer time. I also had the opportunity to testify about my Dad’s recovery after going under the blades in surgery 3 times. What a great God.

The service ended on a very good and high note with great expectation for the month of may (our month of sufficiency).
Got home, had a good nap. When I woke, I remembered I needed to help my wife move her sewing stuffs; yes, she is into fashion and relocating to a new work space. I was tired but i needed to help her do that because she has some contracts at hand and some trainees.

Off I went, and I moved the first batch. On getting home, (yes she is moving into one of the rooms) I called out to her to come help with offloading, but to my amazement, she was asleep. Wow, I had to offload alone(yeah! I love her so much not to wake her up)

My son was busy playing around and can’t help with any of the stuffs I was carrying.

Off again for the second trip, I was determined to help her move everything so as to make her work easy. Got back after some minutes with the car loaded with the final stuffs and I offloaded them successfully. It took me about 2hours to do all this and it was dark by the time i was done.

Yes! My goal is achieved and I am sure by the time she wakes up, she would be happy to see I was able to help her move everything.

Last Batch.

I have done my part, would have helped her with the arrangement, but that may be frustrating cause she would rearrange the space to her taste. So I leave that to her and her trainees to work out tomorrow.
