Gratitude Day 37 of 62 with @tojukaka: Saved from Rains Destrution.

It’s another awesome day to recount the goodness of God for all the things HE does even behind the scene.
Its #gratitudeday37 and it has not just been opportunities to be grateful for things of the past, but God has continually showed up even in present and more current events that deserves gratitude.
God has been faithful and remember in my last post I told you about how everyone in your family is under the corporate covering of a sound church. So God did again. My mum called and narrated how God delivered their property from the rain that fell in Ilorin, Kwara Nigeria that they reside. Remember I said in one of posts that my parents and I are not in the same location. I reside in Ibadan, Nigeria.
There is this tree in my parents compound, and that’s where my Dad parks his car; under this tree. So it rained so heavily on this said night last week that the wind was so boisterous. My Mum and Dad stay alone and of cause not safe to really move around anyhow. Hmm, yeah their house help just left last month as her contract has elapsed. Looking for another though. The rain ran its cause and stopped in the middle of the night. My parents woke up the next day to find that, the wind actually uprooted the tree under which my Dad parks his car. Gracefully enough, the tree fell in such a way it did not crash on my Dads car, and it also did not destroy the small apartment outside. Just a little dent on the roofing’s of the apartment that can be fixed with little cost.
I am indeed grateful for my parent’s safety through the rain and being alone.
I am grateful my Dads car was not crushed by the fallen tree.
I am grateful that the apartment that was just built in the compound was not also damaged beyond what we can bare.
God is indeed faithful and I cannot but be grateful for His unfailing Love, protection and guidance.
